Products and Service Information
Merchants:
1. Keep your merchants to a manageable number. What I mean by that is this, you don't want to be purchasing each month from 15-20 different merchants for your products (at the start of this). You want to keep it under 10 if you can. That way, as you create your product list, you are not having to keep up with more 10 different companies shipping you hundreds of products.
2. Keep your items the same at first. Don't have this type of item then change it over and over before giving your customers the opportunity to give you feed back consistently on it. Often times, we change out products because 1 or 2 people may have said something, but they only represent a very small number in the scale of your business.
3. Placement in your store is everything. Knowing where to put what... Knowing how to drive sales throughout your store with proper placement. This is key. I will come and assist you with this aspect as I have much experience with store placement and marketing.
4. Incentives and the come-back. What is your plan to keep customers coming back? We need to create some type of membership, or monthly mailing or some type of discount or something that will keep them coming back in.
5. Events and community. There is so much that can add value to a community store or business and here is the fun part... getting out of the store! We will discuss this in more detail when I get there as well.
